 A perfect purchase Jun 12, 2010
My partner and I used these as we back packed in Europe and they were a hit. Very comfortable and well hidden under our shirts (and we don't wear baggy shirts). It has a soft cottony back which makes it comfy to wear and helps to absorb any sweat. The one zipper to the front holds a passport perfectly. It's also very durable.
The only downfall I could even possibly mention is sometimes cash will get a little bit "damp" from sweat which can make a little embarrassing when handing money to a cashier. Before buying something, I would typically take out the money I needed and fan it in the air.
Definitely a good buy.

This product does not live up to the Samsonite name. First of all, it did not stay buckled, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of wearing a money belt. I mean the "money" belt won't do a traveler much good if it comes unbuckled and slips from underneath his shirt and onto the ground without the traveler even knowing it has done so. I was lucky when mine came unbuckled because I had my shirt tucked in.
The material is also too thick and heavy, making it too hot and very uncomfortable. And finally, after two or three uses the cheap, plastic buckle broke. If you're a serious traveler, this product is not for you. Buyer beware.
Great way to hide money and passport Jun 10, 2009
I looked at this on Amazon but ended up buying it at my local JCPenney's. I wore it for 10 days in Italy. It fits well around your waist even if you don't wear loose pants. (I am 32 years old, 5'2" and 120 lbs). At times I did feel like I looked a little pregnant with the small bulge, but I don't think anyone besides me or my husband would notice. I didn't have any problems with the clip like other reviewers and it held two passports and some cash with room to spare. It wasn't hot either, I barely knew I had it on.

although buckle is hard to detach it never came apart on me. although we bought ours 7 years ago.
