Reliable brand for luggage security May 12, 2007

I'm giving it 4 stars only because there's a Lewis & Clark version that's a few dollars cheaper. But I went with Samsonite because I already own luggage from this company. What makes this great is 1) the bright neon color, 2) easy instructions for setting the combo 3) TSA-approved. The neon color makes an otherwise indistinguishable piece of luggage easily identifiable. I freaked out when I unlocked the lock and the strap came out. But once you set the lock in place nothing moves. My suitcase was tossed around some (you can see the markings on the strap) but the lock survived. This kind of lock is great if you cannot part with your super-old/vintage (but still very sturdy) suitcase.
